Since it's initial release in 1996, TactiCom's Secured On-Line Order Processing (SOOP) product enables companies to conduct e-commerce, cost effectively, without making tradeoffs and compromises normally associated with internet based stores. The latest generation, our SOOP system, has been enhanced with following features:
- Search Engine Promotion:
- Normally, items in an on-line store or e-commerce system can not be seen or indexed by search engines. TactiCom specializes in developing database driven sites that can be fully indexed by search engines such as AltaVista, Lycos, Infoseek, HotBot, etc. With our next generation SOOP systems, we have optimized our e-commerce systems for search engine placement. All of our on-line stores, shopping carts and malls can be fully indexed by search engines. When search engines visit sites to index them, they can automatically navigate through all of product sheets, specifications, descriptions, keywords and pricing, as all pages in the e-commerce system are visible to search engines. This ensures that Internet users searching for the products that you sell will find your site on a search engine. We know of no other company that has this technology.
It is also possible for a user to bookmark a product page for later reference. Should a product be unavailable, the user is presented with an index of other products available on their return visit.
- Upgrade to our credit card Pre-Screening system:
- Our system automatically screens credit cards and checking account numbers to prevent fraud without having to contact the bank. This prevents false credit card numbers from submission and also eliminates typographical errors to credit card numbers. This is an essential function, especially for high volume sites and sites that target the teenage market.
- Upgrade to our User Logging system:
- Our SOOP system automatically logs details on each user's access method, addresses and computer. This allows law enforcement authorities to trace individuals in case of fraudulent or illegal activity.
