TactiCom's Page Compressor reduces the time it takes for web pages to load and display on web visitor's screen. The system compresses page data and optimizes HTML code, which enables web pages (regardless of content) to render faster and more efficiently as well as download in less time. The system not only reduces file size, it also reduces the client's (web visitor's) computer processing requirements. The system determines which browser (i.e. Internet Explorer/Netscape) the page is being displayed on, then compresses and optimizes the page based on that information. The Page Compressor generates each page, for every client request, in real time. The TactiCom Page Compressor can be used on all HTML based systems, web, intranet and extranet sites. TactiCom will initially deploy this system on our IntraNet and e-commerce systems. All future web sites developed by TactiCom will include our compression technology. About TactiCom
